Angelica and Kim - two of the world’s kindest, most adorable, thoughtful humans. Spending their Hollow Brook Golf Club wedding day with them was a dream - like a beautiful storybook you never wanted to end.

THE COUPLE

Kim and Angelica feel like family. They’re people that you immediately feel comfortable around. Their sense of wonder, curiosity, and kindness is their superpower, and it is immediately apparent that they are good souls as soon as you meet them. Kim is a teacher, and Angelica is a physical therapist, and I have no doubt that their students and clients are impacted for the better just from knowing them.

Kim and Angelica told me that they often match their outfits without meaning to, and when they saw how similar their gowns were at their first look (even down to being the same shade of white!) - it was no surprise. They’re so wonderfully connected in every possible way.

THE VENUE

Ah, Hollow Brook Golf Club in Cortlandt Manor, NY - my home away from home! What amazing things can I say about Hollow Brook that haven’t already been said? Truly this venue has it all - incredible staff, gorgeous grounds, wonderful food, excellent atmosphere. You want for nothing at Hollow Brook.

THE DETAILS

Kim and Angelica chose a fresh and light aesthetic for their wedding, decorating their ceremony and reception space with soft white, blue, and pink florals, and asking their wedding party to wear shades of both dark and dusty blue. Their wedding party was one of the most celebratory I’ve ever seen - they loved on these two amazing brides so well and so wholeheartedly.

THE RECEPTION

Y’all know how much I love to document a good party. And good parties are always made that much better when you can see how celebrated and loved the couple feels. I could see that in Kim and Angelica as they danced around their reception - their sense of wholeness from being cared for and gushed over. Joy was plastered on their faces; you couldn’t have taken that away from them if you tried.

When I asked Kim and Angelica how they wanted to feel at the end of their wedding day, they told me that they wanted to feel “complete” - whole, celebrated, happy. Their wedding day brought all of this to them, and more. And, to be honest, it offered a sense of completeness to me, as well. A sense of a day well spent, because of the people I got to spend it with.
