When I launched the Sweet Alice Studios team, I knew that I had to handpick the souls who would get to take care of the couples that I love so dearly. Putting together my team was a joy, and one of our lead photographers, Erika, had the honor of photographing the first team wedding ever: the very blog I am sharing with you now! I knew this darling couple was in great hands with Erika before the wedding, but seeing the photos after…how incredibly gorgeous. This day was captured beautifully because of her amazing talent and wonderful demeanor.

THE COUPLE

Taylor and Matt met through work, and were together for about 8 years before their wedding. They have an adorable daughter, and love to spend time outdoors, which was one of the main reasons they chose Antrim Streamside as their wedding venue - every fall, they spend a weekend there during peak leaf-peeping season.

THE VENUE

Antrim Streamside is a beautiful and versatile location. It can host weddings, but also rents out cabins for weekend travelers, and can host corporate events, as well. It is a stunning and quiet location, set in the woods, with the stream as its centerpiece. Taylor and Matt chose to host their ceremony on the bridge across the stream - such a unique and beautiful choice.

Antrim Streamside has indoor and outdoor capabilities, and is always working to improve their offerings. For Taylor and Matt’s wedding, they chose to host their reception outside, under a clear tent. It was so beautiful and felt so ethereal.

THE DETAILS

Taylor and Matt chose a summery aesthetic for their June wedding, focusing on colorful florals and greenery. Their celebration lasted the entire weekend, so they also had welcome gifts for guests as they arrived, including a map of the local area and some treats. They didn’t have to do much to dress up the space, since this venue is already so gorgeous, but what they did add just enhanced how lovely the location already was.

THE RECEPTION

It rained during Taylor and Matt’s reception, but there was nothing wiping the sweetness and joy from Taylor’s face as she got to celebrate with all of her dearest people.
