THE COUPLE
I met Kaitlyn and Louis at a wedding in 2018, so when they reached out to ask about photographing their wedding and I couldn’t photograph it myself, I knew the team would be a perfect fit for them.
Kaitlyn is someone that you spend time with, and think to yourself, “Ah - I have found a fast friend.” I had the honor of photographing she and Louis for their engagement session, and it was such a lovely hour spent together. Maria let me know that their wedding was just as lovely. 💛
THE VENUE
Kaitlyn and Louis got married at the Marian Shrine of Don Bosco, and it was truthfully one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. Editing their images was a joy for so many reasons - but one of the primary reasons was how absolutely gorgeous their ceremony was.
Some photographers don’t love church ceremonies, but I and the team don’t mind them at all. There’s something special about honoring faith traditions as a couple becomes a new family of their own.
THE DETAILS
Truth be told, winter is not my favorite season, but winter wedding details are always a treat to capture. The fur stoles. The sparkles and glitz. The blue, white, and green tones. The sequin embellishments.
Kaitlyn and Louis’s wedding had all of the prettiest elements of a winter wedding.
THE RECEPTION
I’ve said before that reviewing images after a Sweet Alice Studios wedding is like an exciting surprise - it’s like I get to experience a wedding through a birds eye view.
I wasn’t at Kaitlyn and Louis’s reception, but I know it was joyful. I know it was exciting. I know it was a true celebration of their love.
Kaitlyn and Louis, you two are precious and wonderful, and I can’t believe your beautiful wedding was 3 years ago now. Time flies. ✨
