Confession:

Sometimes I choose the photos for blog posts, but then let myself mull over the right words to put down to describe these beautiful days that I have the honor of being a part of. I chose the photos in this blog post in April. It’s now June, and here I am, finally putting figurative pen to paper to describe Haylee + Brian’s wedding day. Sometimes, it’s just so dang hard.

I hate when blogs start with “when I first met…”, but I’m gonna break my own rule right now, and say:

When I first met Haylee to talk about her wedding day, we ended up speaking about so much more. The photography industry. Entrepreneurship. The Hudson Valley. This girl is a girl after my own heart.

Needless to say, her wedding was a wedding after my own heart, as well.

If you could swirl up colorful flowers, gorgeous gown trains, fairy dust, history, cats, and comfort, you would be able to replicate the heart of Haylee + Brian’s perfect day. Such a sweet day.

Sometimes I wish I could bring all of you with me to watch these wedding days as they unfold.

I guess pictures will have to be enough. <3
