Overcast winter days always remind me of this precious elopement: chilly, gray, and absolutely perfect.

The day before New Years Eve in 2018, I had the honor of capturing this incredible elopement in Rhinebeck, NY. While our time together was only 2 hours, the adventure we embarked upon felt like I was witnessing an entire lifetime of love curated.

Hands held. Sweet cuddles. A constant exchange of looks that said, “I know you; I love you; we’re getting married today.”

That knowing was deep and beautiful.

The details for the day were lovely, as most are for wedding days (white attire, gorgeous hair and makeup, fur stoles, darling location, holiday decor, smoke bombs - because, why not), but it was these two wonderful women who really sparkled and made the day what it was.

Ivonna + Brenna, you and your day were pure joy, and I relive this day in my heart often. Thank you for the gift of this memory. 💕
